This is such a cute little game ๐ญ the art is beautiful, the characters are both creepy and cute, the story is engaging, and the fights are awesome...The only thing is that it became way too hard at some point and I didn't want to keep investing time getting angry :(
I did get angry at the game a LOT of times and I almost destroyed my TV (not really, but you get the idea). I really don't like games that make me feel this way, but it was just so cute that I really wanted to continue and I forced myself to continue playing even though I did not want to anymore.
I got pretty far tho. Probably a bit more than 2/3. Until eventually I decided it was enough ๐
It reminded me a bit of Cat Quest because of the cute characters and animations, but Cat Quest had way more customization with your weapons. In this game, you get a pretty limited selection of weapons and you don't get to level them up at all. Which was fine by me, because it makes the game so much simpler, but turns out the fights are very difficult.
Another thing I didn't like about the fights was that you don't get to see how much time you have left or how much life have you already destroyed from your opponent. So it became really frustrating to not know if I was closer to being done or not.
Finally, I didn't like that the checkpoints were too far apart. Because I'd die somewhere and I'd have to re-do x number of fights to get to the same point I was before, or I'd have to walk for a few minutes just to get back to that same mini-boss.
Rating
I'm giving it 3/5 because it was really frustrating for me. If only I had a way to turn down the difficulty, I would've enjoyed it way more.
