Ok, wasn't that trailer the coolest thing ever? Ok, maybe it wasn't the coolest ever BUT I swear to you, it is 100% worth playing.
Once you start playing, you are asked to choose if you want to start playing with Jurassic Park or Jurassic World. I, of course, chose Jurassic Park. I am a 90s baby after all. So I got started righttt from the start of the movies.
The 4 movies you can play in this game are Jurassic Park, The Lost World (also known as Jurassic Park II), Jurassic Park III, and Jurassic World.
At first, you won't have access to almost any vehicle, character, or dinosaur wherever you start. But as you keep playing, finishing chapters, and earning coins; you will start to unlock those one at a time. By the time you unlock most of them, your playing will become way more fun because you can be any character/dinosaur you want or ride any vehicle while exploring the open world of the 4 movies!!
Yes, you read that right. You can choose to play as a dinosaur. Not only that, you can also customize your dinos in the lab! And you can create hybrids too! 🤯 If that is not enough, you can create and customize your characters! So you can even play in the open world as yourself! 😍
The thing I found the most fun, besides being able to play as different dinos, was to be able to play inside the movie. I really felt as if I was living the movies first-hand. It was a huuugeeee thing for my inner child. I know these movies by heart and being able to interact with them was the coolest.
Another thing I found really nice was that it's super child-friendly. No character is hurt. The ones that are eaten in the movie reappear at the end or after a while so there are no real deaths on screen. And when you're exploring the world, you can overhear conversations from other characters in the background. They're the funniest things ever. Some of them include really awful "dad jokes" and I'm all up for it 😂
Also good to mention: it is multiplayer. You can play alone and have a character companion or you can play with a friend and you both have to go through the puzzles together! I mostly played alone, but the few times I played with a friend, it was the funniest thing ever.
